The Singers

Juanita Davis, is a graduate of Arts High School currently and attends Bloomfield College as a Nursing Major. While attending Arts High School, Juanita studied music composition and had been trained to sing classical music. She has been in theatre for eight years, starring in her first play in the musical Dream Girls as Michelle. Prior leading roles include; Shalom, Teenage Chronicle, as well as Life Issues and Situations, the five part play at the Helen Mills Theatre in New York City. (A-cappella singer- Alto)

Amarachi Ogbuokiri makes her debut in this production. She is a talented singer, dancer, choreographer, and songwriter, and most enjoys sharing her love for God and His people through the performing arts. Her church home is Abundant Life Family Worship Church under Bishop George Searight, where she is active in the dance ministry and choir.  She is on her way to a Master’s in Education in hopes to invoke a love and need for a good and equal education for future generations. (A-capella singer- Soprano)

Rennelle C. Martin is a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and a member of From the Heart Church Ministries. Her first love is Praise and Worship, but she has had an extensive career both in business and in entertainment, as her gifts and talents have lent itself to work with renowned artists in the field of R&B and gospel. Having worked with Godzchild Productions in two other performances, she is encouraged by their creativity to spread the Word of the Gospel(A-cappella singer)

Ashley Renee Martin is a talented young woman of virtue. She is a member of Holiness Pentecostal Church of Christ, Newark, New Jersey, where she serves as a member of the Praise Team. She is pursuing a BA in early childhood education at Essex County College. Ashley has performed previously with Godzchild Productions and is excited about giving her talents “back to the Lord who gave them for the building up of his kingdom.(A-cappella singer- Soprano

Danielle Fuller is from Camden, NJ, attends St. James Apostolic Temple and has been singing her whole life. She played a co-lead role in SHUGC’s concert/play In His Presence and also has served as alto section leader in SHUGC ’05, ’06. Danielle enjoys writing songs, singing and praising God. (A-cappella singer- Alto)

Crystal Roe was Vice President and Co-Director of Seton Hall University Gospel Choir where she received her BA degree in English in May of 2008. After graduating she decided to pursue a career with Enterprise Holdings, but ultimately wants to attend theology school and travel the world ministering the word to the youth. (A-cappella Singer- Tenor)

Darryl T. Powell is a graduate of Saint Peter’s College with both a Bachelors of Science in Marketing Management and a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership. Darryl currently teaches middle school mathematics in East Orange, NJ.  Darryl is a member of the Bethlehem Judah Christian Fellowship. His pastor is Elder Anthony W. Gilyard. Darryl got his start in theater at age 12 when he performed in Link Community Schools The Orphan Annie as (Olivier Daddy Warbucks) and The Wiz as (Scarecrow) plays. (A-cappella Singer- Tenor)
