The Actors

Dion Patterson is an elementary teacher by day, Broadway music lover by night and a member of Abundant Life Family Worship Church. With a English from Morehouse College and a M.S. in Elem. Literacy degree from Walden University, Dion believes, “This production is the ladder I need to make it into the NYC theatre spotlight!!” (Clerk)

Lytheia Smith, of Brownsville, Brooklyn (NY) has been singing “sounds and melodies” that would “soothe the pain of the ghetto” as she states, “and bring a sense of hope and happiness to everyone.” She sang her first song “The Lord’s Prayer” in front of a congregation of thousands and recited a 23 verse poem at the tender age of three. She performed in a Sheila Haskins off Broadway production titled “Your Arms To Short To Box With God”. (Evangelist P)

Tony Page, is a graduate of New Jersey City U. with a degree in Criminal Justice. Tony made his debut on stage in a class play The Crucible. From then, he found a new pursuit in acting and starred in “God, Why Me?” as Rev. Smith. Tony is married to his high school sweatheart, Onisha Yarborough Page, has two beautiful daughters, Nylah and Toni, and is the youth overseer and Associate Minister at the Holiness Pentecostal Church of Christ. Vanessa V. Roman is excited to be making her second stage appearance with Godzchild Productions, while her debut performance was as Spanglish-speaking Aunt Sunny in the 2007 production of “God Why Me.” An alto in real life – a soprano in her dreams – Vanessa loves worshipping the Lord through song as a worship leader at Ebenezer Temple in Newark. A graduate of Seton Hall U., Vanessa is currently a journalist for a New Jersey newspaper and lives with her husband, James. (Ruth Shy-Be)

Kimberlyn Rengifo’s performances include “On Your Toes”, “Once Upon a Mattress”, and more. LHS Dance Company and Musical Theater programs. She has been performing on the stage since the age of 13. (Veronica)

Idris Talbott recently attended Seton Hall U., and has been acting since his sophomore year in high school with at least 8 plays to his credit, including, “Hello, Dolly!”, “Into the Woods” and “The Wiz.” Idris thanks God for NEVER GIVING UP on him and he prays that he continues to excel in whatever he tries through God. Lucy Warsaw attends Faith Fellowship International Ministries in Sayreville, NJ and has been acting for 3 years, beginning at her current school, Seton Hall U. Lucy states that she is saved by His grace (Eph 2:5) and redeemed through the Blood of Jesus (Eph 1:7) as she prays that this play will bless your mind, body, soul and spirit, but most importantly the souls will be saved for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. Donald Lee has always had an interest and natural talent for acting. In June 2010, he made his theatrical debut in “I Love New York,” an Off Broadway play. Donald Lee attends Refuge Temple Ministries in Camden, NJ, where he is the president of the youth department, as well as a member of the mass choir. (Evangelist W/ Overseer)
