Our Standards For Publishing

In determining any manuscript’s fitness for publication with Godzchild, our editors evaluate all manuscripts according to the following industry and company standards:
- The work achieves a positive message and inspires the reader toward positive change. Our objective is to facilitate holistic—mental, physical and spiritual—transformation through the projects we publish.
- We are interested in projects that expose our readers to a variety of stories and voices in the hope that these works will have an illuminating impact the way readers view the world and their lives’ purpose in it.
- The work must be tactful and its content should not detract from or compromise the thought life of the reader by using gratuitous or sensationalizing language to express its meaning (i.e. unnecessary profanity or meaninglessly lewd scenarios). We recognize that the experiences of our authors (or their characters) may include some situations deemed inappropriate for some audiences. If these situations contribute to the broader purpose of the book, we welcome them; however; if they serve merely to titillate or provoke, another company might be a more suitable option. In cases of ambiguity, Godzchild Inc. reserves the right to decide whether such content is vital or gratuitous.
- The work is theologically responsible. While Godzchild Inc. respects a diversity of theological thought and traditions, we will not endorse projects that propagate irresponsible ideas, particularly those that have the potential to do harm to individuals or threaten to undermine an established or potential spiritual relationship with Jesus of the Gospels. Thus, all projects will be reviewed for biblical reliability. We will not publish any project that we believe to be in blatant and irremediable conflict with the Gospel.
