Dr. Maurice A. Lee
Dr. Maurice A. Lee, a successful Orangeburg, SC pharmacist, was born on August 4, 1976. He received his Baccalaureate of Science in Biology from South Carolina State University. He furthered his education at the Medical University of South Carolina and received a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree thus becoming the first black male pharmacist from Eutawville, SC. Dr. Lee has become quite a cognoscente in the health profession. He has spoken to our communities, schools and churches to enlighten them about health-care and other subjects that concern the health benefits of people.
Dr. Lee understands the hardships endured by students longing to take advantage of higher education. He himself was once one of those struggling students. Dr. Lee invested with his own capital into the M.A. Lee Scholarship Fund which assists students with money for tuition, books and housing. Dr. Lee has an overwhelming desire to help others and he embraces educational and developmental growth. He was also featured as one of Essence Magazine’s 2008 Do Right Men.
