On February 2, 2006 my life changed in a dramatic way. I went from medicrity to destiny. I went from regular faith to radical faith. In moments, everything changed. It all began when I decided to launch the House of Prayer at the West Side Community Center [in Asbury Park]. My first prospects were a few friends and students from my wfe’s school, totalling twenty people. I was so excited I could barely keep myself calm. My wife and I cleaned, painted and transformed the room into something like a [church] sanctuary. Every Thursday, we would set up and break down [chairs and equipment]. We would restock the toilet paper, prepare the napkins, place fabric across the tables, vacuum the carpet, put the chairs out and position the pulpit. We did this faithfully for two months. But it wasn’t growing like I thought it would.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t question God duirng this process.
